PERSONALITY: Youthful, Keen, Likes to get things Done, Playful but Hates people who go against rules in Speedor Tournaments. Quite a lot of fun, and handy when it comes to throwing knives or clubs.
WEAPONS & GADGETS: His golden left leg, his wolf scenes, and his sharp wit.
PROFILE: Very little is known about Wort's young life, not even he can remember himself. Had his original tribe abandoned him, packed up and forgot about him or had been attack and he was left for dead? No one really knows. No one's even sure if Wort's Wolf Tribe were wiped about...by another Wolf Tribe, perhaps Worriz's own Tribe. They'll never know what they fought over; land, politics, money, food, mates, beliefs...who knows.
But it was that Langueia was riding her Speedor when she heard a weak cry for help and came across a war-torn settlement. Under a rumbled-house she sighted a young wolf cub in an terrible state: covered in blood, half-starved body, torn clothes and his left leg trapped among the rubble. She tried her best to help the cub by tying vines to some of the beams and using tree branches to lift them up slightly, but she saw that she needed help in this rescue.
She got help alright, but she had to interrupt a Gold CHI Tournament to do so. Once the seriousness of the situation was brought before Lagravis, he got the Lion, Eagle, Gorilla, Bear, Beaver and Rhino tribes to help with the rescue. The infuriated and annoyed Wolf, Raven and Crocodile Tribes did nothing to help.
At first the rescue party didn't know where to go at first, but with Langueia's Sense of Inner-CHI on her Speedor wheel they were able to find their way to the distress zone.
With the help of the Gorilla Mechs, the Eagle Jets, the Rhino's strength, the Beaver's need for fixing & their speed and the Lions as a chain, they were able to rescue the cub before the debris completely collapsed on top of him. The cub thanked them for saving him before fainting due to loss of blood.
Getting him back to the Lion Temple to be treated was another matter. But after some careful planning and using some of the ruins and a large piece of cloth, Langueia, Eris and Laval were able to erect a crude stretcher and fastened it between two Speedorz before setting off back to the Lion Temple.
Once back at the temple, the cub went under immediate treatment.At first, everyone feared the worse due to that child loosing a lot of blood. Langueia was equally worried about what the Tribes might think of her for disbanding the tournament like that. Fortunately, Lagravis put her fears to rest, as what she'd done was done through her heart and head, and no one on Laval's side thought any different of her.
Later that evening, Ewald and some of the Healers left the Sick Bay to give good news and bad news. The good new was, thanks to Langueia's efforts, they had saved the poor cub's life. He was going to pull through and recover. The bad news was his trapped leg was dead from the knee down had had to be amputated just below to stop it spreading, so he could never walk properly again.
Langueia later on, kept a watch over the cub till he woke up and prepared for the shock of his life. He felt like he might was well be dead if he was no use to anyone if he wouldn't walk or run ever again. Langueia tried to cheer him about saying how different she was, but she wasn't useless, didn't quite work. But they had a good conversation, and Langueia learnt the cub's name was Wort, but he couldn't remember what exactly had happened before Langueia found him; he just woke up among the rubble and in agony, unable to move his leg.
She felt so sorry for him, that she built him a wheelchair from her encyclopedia so he could watch the rerun of the Gold CHI Tournament from the balcony of the Sick Bay. Wort enjoyed watching it, even if he couldn't understand why Worriz and Razar tried cheats, tricks and shortcuts if they only knocked themselves out of the race. Later on, people came to visit him and he began to feel a whole lot better, but was still miserable as he would be bed-ridden for the rest of his life.
Langueia felt so sorry for him that she went to the Ravens and got him a false leg (luckily only Ripnick was there), had some of the Lions redesign it, and got him a new set of clothes for him to wear when he was ready to come down to dinner.
When he finally did, Lagravis announced that Wort will forever be accepted into the Lion Tribe since he now has no other home to return to...and the other Wolves deny any knowledge of him or what happened at all.
Now he's part of the Lion Tribe, under Langueia's care. He also acts as her right-hand man (so to speak), so whenever's they're on adventures and are stalked or attacked by Wolves, Crocodiles and Ravens, he's the one who mans the catapult, shooters or cannons on their vehicles.
After having her save his life, Wort'll do anything for Langueia, even to rescue her from the clutches of Crooler or Worriz.
APPEARANCE: Dark Bluish Grey fur with light bluish grey hand paws, muzzle, ear and eye markings. His golden leg is of Lion Style, but he does wear a few old traits from is Wolf Tribe Clothes. He dresses in Lion Tribe attire and dons a short Dark Blue Cape, rather like Langueia does. He also has a satchel in which he carries just about any small item, from a few pebbles to a ball of string, in case they could be useful.
SPECIAL GIFT: If he took off his false leg and locked the knee at an angle, he can use as a boomerang. It also works as a club, a pickax and a crowbar. It's also the first item he uses if he needs to reach anything or anyone.
