Devolution on Moo Mesa

Now here's something from Issue #52 of Tales of the TMNT, which certainly took me by surprise, and that the fact that these Kraang (I think that's what they are) are able to reverse the effects of the comet fragment to turn Moo Mesa's citizens back to their origins...a sort of "Pleasure Island Effect" (although, when using anthro, furry or even equine people for such a topic, there's really no sense in it - I mean, what's the point in turning a MLP FiM character into a donkey when they're already equine-like? It's just a lost plot...)

Now, viewers might recall what Bat Blastagun did in the episode "How the West was Shrunk" when he and his gang uncovered a fragment, and even in someone on Fanfiction.net managed to come with a story where Blastagun's gang could not only turn biped back into quadrupeds; www.fanfiction.net/s/663896/6/… but even turn Mesans into humans; www.fanfiction.net/s/663896/7/… (though thankfully a second blast was able to turn them back to normal - or as normal by Moo Mesa's standards)

And even in my fanfic "War of Moo Mesa", the Blue Hook Terrorists seek the comet fragment for its power, and don't even care about what the consequences might be if they removed it, sort of like the Core in Animalia, the CHI in 's Legends of Chima, the Chaos Emeralds & the Master Emerald in Sonic X or the Great Crystal in 's Atlantis.

Certainly makes you think of what potential that comet fragment really has within it, and should its secrets truly be cracked open like a walnut?
