Hi folks!
Did you know that if you work within any of the Merlin Entertainment Theme Parks in the UK, you can collect Pop Badges.
There's one badge I need to get my hands on, and it's this;
I saw this on a little boy when on duty at LEGOland Windsor, but he simply refused to trade it with any of the ones I had, even my rare Unikitty ones.
I emailed LEGOland Discovery Centre to see if they had any spares they could send me, and they said they hadn't as it was out of print. They did recommend me to look on sites such as eBay to see if I could find one, but to no avail.
There was a site that seemed quite promising, and that was Treasure Tally; www.treasuretally.com/ which specialized in trading Merlin Entertainment pop badges.
The only trouble is it's rather hard to join as there seems to be no 'Join In' or 'Register' button/icon to click on in order to trade.
If anybody is a member of Treasure Tally, and knows how to join, then would they please let me know as I'm very keen to get hold of this badge.

Seeking a Children's Story Book
Hey viewers! If any of you are Voracious Readers readers, particularly in Children's books, I need some help in tracking a certain book down. It was during my Christmas work that I thought of this book as it contained a Christmas story, that I though would be interesting for my work place. I remembered that my family's hairdresser in Twickenham had this under her desk, but today, after my mum paid her visit, I've discovered she no longer has it - mind you, it's been a long time since I last saw her (I remember seeing her around Christmas 2021 when mum had a hair appointment and we went there en route to my sister's house in Horseham, and that's about it) This book in question was an A-Z Children's Storybook, with 26 stories relating to the letters of the alphabet. I can't remember all the stories, but I do recall the following; A Cheeky Wheel of Cheese/Cheesecake . A Fireman who grew a long luxurious tapered moustache that was the pride of his brigade - till he lost half of it due
Wrap Up of 2023
Well, this has been a year of ups and downs for me, mostly in the career look at life. I got a job at Royal Mail as a Postman via an agency in February - they kicked me off after 4 weeks on account they thought I was too slow. (That wasn't my fault, as A) They put me with a constant complainer, B) They added an extra route onto our section 3 weeks in, C) Tuesdays was early-closing and whatever post I hadn't done before 12:30, after leaving around 10:00, I had to bring back and deliver the next day and D) I wanted to prove I wasn't slow, but they wouldn't give the chance. I took a Hospitality Course to become a Barista in a Hotel Chain - that got me nowhere with the Hotel the course was being sponsored by. My dad was diagnosed with dementia in late November - though thankfully it's in the early stages, so it's treatable, but the family's making a better effort to work along with him, even if it gets him irritated. I've had several job interviews - either which I've failed (and
Are my Good Deeds Really Misunderstand-able?
Sorry folks, I'm in a bit of depressed state, as you might have read on my latest works regarding the webcomic "Tina's Story" on Patreon, I've been depledged and blocked on accounts of bullying and/or spamming within the last 48 hours. Now, that's just not the case. In actual fact, nothing could be further from the truth. All I did, was share some ideas with creators Grey Muzzle & :iconzenia: that I'd had since Thursday night. Granted, we're at opposite ends of our tastes in what's portrayed and how it's portrayed. As any viewers here who are also patrons to the webcomic, they'll show nudity, sex and any other adult-related stuff without any fuss, but they don't cover the subject of childbirth that well in their pregnancy arcs - whilst I'm the other way around - their most recent one having just ended...though now I don't know what it's resulted in! (In other words, they'll show it going in and growing, but never coming out) As I mentioned, I respected them and even checked my works
A DA Milestone
As of yesterday, I reached the start of my 100th page in my online gallery here since I signed up here 10 years ago! That means I submitted enough art and literature, no matter how repetitive it appeared (i.e my Ovum Amp ads almost every Mayternity Season), to fill 10 pages a year. I know others up here probably reached that in less time than I took to reach 100 pages, considering all the obstacles and the ups-&-downs I've faced since I left technical college, but still, I'm surprised to have reached that far, along with feeling impressed and proud to have reached his milestone. Here's to hoping I reach the next milestone before long...whatever that might be... And good luck on those whose goal is to reach 100 pages up here on DA.
